Administrative and biographical history: The Cyfronnydd estate was owned by a John Pryce in 1733 when he married one Grace Carreg of Cemaes Bychan, Montgomeryshire. In 1803 the estate was partly owned by Pryce Jones when he married Mary Browne of Millington, Montgomeryshire. The estate lay mainly in Merioneth and Montgomeryshire.
Scope and content: Deeds, 1568-1939, relating to the Cyfronnydd estate mainly in Merionethshire and Montgomeryshire, and records relating to the Aberllefenni Slate Quarry, Merioneth, 1850-1946.
