Administrative and biographical history: Dr Thomas Edwin Teasdale Griffiths (1904-1984) was a musician and composer. He was married to Kathleen Isobel Maxwell (died 1989), and was the father of Stephen Gareth Griffiths (born 1949). He lived in Birkenhead, Wirral, Cheshire, and on Anglesey.
Scope and content: Correspondence, 1945-1946; manuscript scores of compositions and arrangements, [c. 1910]-1931; and miscellaneous papers, 1915-1946, including articles by various authors on the Jewish musical tradition, 1926-1946.
