CYD-DESTUN

Hanes bywgraffyddol/gweinyddol: Joseph Parry was for many years a prominent member of the Liverpool Welsh community and a water engineer of considerable standing in the city. He was also the son-in-law of John Ambrose Lloyd (1815-1874) the eminent Welsh musician and composer. As the material shows, Joseph Parry was keenly interested in the life and work of his father-in-law and collected a considerable amount of genealogical material and other data. He was largely responsible for ensuring the publication in 1921 of the biographical work John Ambrose Lloyd - Hanes ei Fywyd a'i Weithiau after the death of its author Charles Francis Lloyd in 1917.
