The library collected records from a variety of sources in Radnorshire including Arthur Stanley Michael (Chief Constable, Radnorshire Constabulary), private estates, Llandrindod Hospital (opened 1880), and Women's Institutes branches in Llandrindod Wells, Howey, Crossgates, Kinnerton and Llanelwedd.
