Hanes bywgraffyddol/gweinyddol: The Pearl Street Baptist Mission from which the Splott Road Baptist Church, Cardiff, Glamorgan, was established, was started in 1880. In 1883, a public meeting of members was called and a committee was appointed to select a site for the erection of a new school chapel. The site was fixed in 1885, and work commenced in October 1886. The building was opened in Splott Road in 1887. A new church was erected in 1893. The last service in the church was held in 1983.
