Records Held

Conwy Archive Service was established in 1996 when Conwy County Borough was formed from parts of the pre-1974 counties of Caernarfonshire and Denbighshire.  It holds collections of documents, maps and plans, newspapers and journals, photographs and prints, architectural drawings and microforms of local relevance.  Records held include those of parish churches and chapels, local government, schools, local businesses and industries, societies and organisations and individuals.  There is also a useful series of reference books in the microfilm room.

Opening Times

Monday - Thursday 10am  - 4.30pm
(closed for lunch 12.30 to 1.30pm)

Accessibility

There is parking reserved for drivers with mobility problems in front of the building.  The Archive is wheelchair accessible throughout and has a toilet for wheelchair users.  Magnifying glasses, light boxes and a UV lamp are all freely available.
